Gurdip leads the team in its the global marketing strategy and supervise the company’s forays into existing as well as new markets. He also oversees expansion plans which cover establishing business alliances as well as the development of new products and services. Gurdip spearheads the company into new areas of online/traditional marketing technologies and strategies.
In 2000, Gurdip co-founded and was the Marketing Director of a company incubated by Silkroute Ventures. There, he was involved in drawing out marketing strategies to penetrate such markets as the USA and Australia. He was responsible for finding new ways to revolutionize operational processess as well as how certain commodities were being traded worldwide.
Gurdip has also worked in several IT and training companies such as Comsertrac Holdings and ITC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. He
has, over the period of 10 years, led a dynamic research team to develop training materials for IT courses jointly organised by the Singapore's Infocomm Development Authority (IDA, formerly National Computer Board), the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and Skills Development Fund (SDF).
In this capacity, he was instrumental in setting new standards for training methodologies in the areas of IT proficiency. Gurdip has written more than 15 IT training books (stringently vetted by a panel for IDA and SCS). These books were subsequently used by over 20 approved commercial and IT schools to train over 50,000 trainees nationwide. His books were also used regionally, particularly Malaysia. He has also written 3 fictions and has a regular column in a Malaysian-based magazine.
